It is initially sweet but spicy enough to cause contact burns. This is currently the hottest pepper in the world, please use caution. 1,400,000 to 2,200,000 SHU.
*White Ghost - The white version of the famous Red Ghost Pepper, which set the heat record in 2007. The Carolina Reaper has since surpassed the Ghost in heat, but this is still a fantastic pepper to grow. 1,000,000 SHU.
Habanero Orange - The Habanero’s distinctive,”wavy-walled” shape and unique tropical-fruity start and smoky, fiery finish is what makes it so popular in hot sauces, salsas, and jellies. 150,000 to 325,000 SHU.
*Scarlet Lantern x CGN 21500 - This hybrid pepper is sweet with a nice heat and its unique shape and color are stunning. The Scarlet Lantern is highly regarded among chili lovers, and the CGN 21500 is well-known among CGN peppers. Avg. 34,000 to 90,000 SHU.
Aji Cusco - This hot, red pepper was discovered at a market in Cusco, Peru and brought to Utah to acclimatize it locally. 2021 is the third year this stock is growing locally. Especially productive perennial if overwintered; it can grow 4 feet tall. 30,000 to 60,000 SHU.
Brazilian Starfish - The Brazilian Starfish has a fruity flavor that is occasionally hotter than a jalapeño. Highly prolific once established. 30,000 to 50,000 SHU.
*Aji Pineapple - The Aji Pinapple is a favorite among rare Peruvian peppers. Plants are productive, and fruits are a vibrant light yellow, around 2.5-3” long, bursting with fruity sweet tropical flavor. 20,000 to 30,000 SHU.
